Alicen Armstrong Brown

Alicen Armstrong Brown moved to the coast of New England with her family in 1995 from San Francisco, California seeking affordable housing and less traffic, but not necessarily warmer weather. Alicen has been practicing graphic design since 1981 and graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in Applied Art and Design/Graphic Design.

Alicen’s freelance work experience includes in California: The Oakland Museum, Gensler & Associates Architects, Landor Associates, McKesson Corporation, Primo Angeli, The North Face, and Smith & Hawken; in New York City: Lerner/The Limited Shops; and in Portsmouth: Brown & Company. Since 1995, her clients have included the Gundalow Company, Piscataqua Region Estuaries Partnership, NH Coastal Adaptation Workgroup, Leadership Seacoast, Fuller Gardens, Prescott Park Arts Festival, Canterbury Shaker Village, Tangram 3ds, CrossCurrent Communications.
