Recently completed was the update of the Canterbury Shaker Village website. The site had become dysfunctional as a result of a poorly executed conversion from a Drupal-based site to a WordPress-based site, so we were asked to help “clean it up” and make it easier to maintain and update. We improved the function of the sidebars throughout the site to facilitate up-to-date information for visitors. In the process of updating the administration of the site, design refinements were also made to the overall look of the site.
Th old site was stark and lacked attention to detail–contrary to the Shaker esthetic. The new home page design refined the use of colors and fonts and balance of the page elements. They were not looking for a complete redesign, simply refining the experience without departing significantly from what is already in place. Visit the Canterbury Shaker Village website.
