ALICEN BROWN lives on the Atlantic coast in the state of Maine. Alicen moved to New England with her family in 1995 from San Francisco, California seeking affordable housing and less traffic, but not necessarily warmer weather. Alicen graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Art and Design/Graphic Design.

CHRISTINE CUCCIA lives on the Pacific coast in the state of California. After graduating from CSU Chico with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication/Graphic Design, Christine honed her craft on a wide range of projects at a variety of firms, from brand architecture and style guides in the button-down world of corporate communications to wine labels and handmade books in bring-your-dog-to-work boutique design studios. Since then she’s become a creative problem solver experienced in identity design, publication design, marketing communications, packaging, environmental graphics, and web design.

ABOUT STUDIO NACL

Studio NaCl is comprised of two experienced designers that go together like salt and pepper. Naturally. With more than fifty years of combined design experience and the shared belief that collaboration produces better work, we established our studio in 2003 in coastal Maine and California. Studio NaCl = Sodium Chloride, the essential elements in salt. It’s what we all have in common, and can’t live without. Its characteristics of simplicity, necessity, and versatility relate to our design philosophy. We invite you to sit down with one of us — share some salt, so to speak — and talk about your creative needs and how we can help.
